Acid and Base
Happy 606! Kicking off the summer with the first two FREE releases by evix: Acid and Base. As with all evix tracks they are improvised and based around single takes, but there was a bit more involved for these: rapidly creating the 303/drum patterns to then immediately play live, or quickly drawing out the Acid loops and then writing/recording the live bass-lines in song-length takes. Fun and energetic.

Acid
4-track EP written in January 2012. It’s time for some evix acid! We’re kicking out some acid jams - improvised live in classic old-school ReBirth style, they are quite a workout. Get your tweak on.

Base
4-track EP written in February 2012. And to balance out the acid, it’s time for some base! Actually (and ironically) written in the Acid music program, these dance jams are built around single takes of driving bass-lines of The Cure/New Order/Home Video style.
